| Dating | The colophon does not mention a place or time of printing. However I follow Alexander Marx's conjecture: the last leaf of some of the book's editions features a woodcut illustration of "a rabbi teaching students," first used in the 1490-1491 edition of Meshal ha-ḳadmoni. This would seem to place the book's terminus ante quem before the second edition (1496-1497) of Meshal ha-ḳadmoni.
